Captain America: Super Soldier - 2011
Info ::
I began working on Captain America in 2010 as the solo prop artist on the project. Props are defined as any dynamic object (other than characters or effects) in gamespace that can be interacted with directly, or indirectly by the player or AI. Things like doors, destructible objects, animated objectives, etc. A short rundown of my duties on this project:
- Brainstorm with designers to create a list of props for the project.
- Create a personal schedule based on the list, prioritizing based on areas currently recieving art passes, milestone deliverables, etc.
- Help define a basic art style for the props that fits the universe and setting of the game.
- Create the low poly and high poly versions based off of either concept art, or personal designs.
- Integrate the prop into the game using existing functionality, or request additional functionality. Reuse existing functionality as much as possible to allow quick broad changes to be made.
- Finally: tweak, tune, prune and debug the props based on feedback.
All in all it has been a very busy production, but I'm super proud of what I've accomplished! :)

Because the game has not yet shipped, I am limited to what I am allowed showcase.
