-DJ Mixes-

There have been times where I have been on the hunt for music, and with the music made myself a continuous DJ Mix. This gives me a couple of hours of uninterrupted music to listen to while I work. And over the past few years I have made quite a few of these, heh, I'm having a hard time remembering which one is which! But each has an ebb and flow of it's own, made during a particular time in my life. Thus each one has a special meaning or memory when I listen to it :)(WARNING!! Should you wish you download any of these, be aware that they are HUGE files, and many hours long!)

October 2008: I got a bunch of new songs, and made a mix where everything falls on just two keys, accoding to Mix Meister. I love it! It's one of my current favorites. A bit more intense than some of the other mixes.

Two Tone Mix - 2 CDs

July 2008: Finding some new music again, and some songs that I had not used before. I struggled with this one for a while before it all finally came together. I'm very happy with this mix, as it sounds professional, and I feel like I can call is an 'official' mix of mine. That is, something I'm happy with, and didn't just slap together, and it has a lot of diversity. Despite some of my best mixes being 2CDs long, I decided to try 3CDs.. if only because I had so many songs lol.

Summer Peach Mix - 3 CDs

March and May 2008: These two short mixes were just experiments to see if I can make a mix without knowing the key of each song, and simply go by ear using songs that I like. Feather weight, while not being the best mix, has some good songs, but overall it's mediocre. Still, it has a special meaning in my life because of what what happening at the time.

Chiller Twist Mix - 1 CD

Feather Weight Mix - 1 CD

March 2008: While I am happy with this mix, I don't think it's one of my strongest. Maybe it's because of how much trouble I had putting it together. Coming from the last mix, I had a hard believing that I could make anything better. But in the end it all came together with some really nice songs, and nice flow to it. I've listened to it many times because of that, so I suppose that means it's good :)

G-Less Entry Mix - 3 CDs

December 2007: One of the mixes I am most proud of! It was a love themed mix, and if you listen to all the lyrics of the songs, it's like people having conversations, or somehow talking about something relating to the previous song. I didn't think I could make a mix that was better than Fresh mix, or Lemon Mix, but here it is!

Lost and Found Mix - 3 CDs

May 2007: Yep! It's been a while since my last mix, and I was feeling good. I think I had just gotten a bunch of new music again, so it was time to try my hand at a new mix before I got too rusty. I can't remember too much about this mix, but it's defintly a spring mix :) I think it all went well, more or less. But I was very happy with how it all came together in the end. Pretty high on my favorites.

Salad Mix - 2 CDs

May 2006: This mix I would consider one of my first truly proffesional sounding mixes that I've made. It's more harder edged than the previous mixes, with a lot more darker emotion. It has very good flow, and good transitions too. I had a few songs that I knew went well together, I knew what song I wanted to end off on, so I needed to fill in the blanks as it were. I've listened to this one a lot!

Fresh Mix - 2 CDs

March 2006: It's kind of summer mix this one, and really different than my other mixes, more tribal you could say. This mix brings back memories of a HOT summer and my new car that I have been lusting over for the past few years :) I drove a LOT in that car listening to this mix.

Difference Mix - 2 CDs

October 2005: A short mix using left over songs I wanted to use in the Lemon Mix. Despite it coming together in an afternoon, I really like it! Very good flow I think, with good transitions. Despite the name, it's contains songs that are in the G key ;)

G-String mix - 1 CD

September 2005: I remember getting my friend's music collection, so I went to town with making a mix! Not only that, but the new version of mix meister had song keys! So now I could match songs up with the beat AND key! This monster of a mix is one of my crowning achievements, and I think only because I had so much new music to play around with. :) Love it!!

Lemon Mix - 4 CDs

February 2005: This is the first professional sounding mix that I made, using an old version of mix meister that had only beat matching. Everything else was done by ear. Yeah, I don't know how I managed to pul it off, but this mix rocks! At the time I was discovering new artists that I really liked, and so I entered a whole new world of DJ Mixing. This one is highly recommended :D Again, many memories of cruising around with my friend during the summer, back when times were simpler.

Vintage Mix - 2 CDs

2004: meh, this is one of my least favorite mixes :( Nothing too special. I'm putting it here just so it's here.

Trianglation Mix - 3 CDs

2004? A quick mix using faster paced songs. I quite like it, even though it was one of my earlier attempts. LONG transitions :) Very trancy.

Vari Mix - 1 CD

2004? Ah yes, my first forey into mix meister! Before I had a large collection of music, I used whatever I had, plus some of my friend's music to create this. LOTS of flow and varaity here, mainly because I was used to making mixes inside Cool Edit, so I was used to doing EVERYTHING by ear, beat and key matching. A lot of oldies here, and it's not very refined, but memorable non the same :)

Uber Mix - 4 CDs
